Hello again, I hope you've been well. Getting enough sleep? Don't forget to eat well, maybe less candy sometimes though? But I know it makes you feel better so I won't protest. I'm guilty of the same hehe.
Seriously though, I have some minor news to share and I'll just do them in short.
-I Missed The 4/12 Upload; Doing it today, I ended up too busy with other things and not feeling well so I put it off !
-Folder Changes, Again; Yep switched to default style because A. They translate for non-latin character reading persons and B. Easier to see what's in each folder without guessing by the name.
I kind of prefer them this way myself tbh...hehe.
-No April Fools Day; normally I do something for it but this year I just opted to be part of the Biting Pear of Salamanca silliness. Feels kinda glum saying it like that though, but I wasn't feeling up to doing something this year plus I was hoping to do something stupid and over the top so I definitely didn't prepare enough.
-New Graphics Work; So my work has totally become such a mix I'm not sure it's even signature making anymore? Especially now, I've finished about 6 things this year so far. They're different still from last year's, I would describe them as surreal.
No ETA but likely after I finish uploading all of my other recent unshared work.
-Sharing Is Caring; I hope you guys are enjoying all of the learning PSDs and stocks I've been sharing, I have a bunch more coming up and I'm super excited to keep sharing my photography and my design experience with you guys. ^^

because it won't leave you that way. No but really, I hope you're well. This is mostly just a check-in to let you know I've been on something of a break from art. I'm still creating, even still consuming and taking critical eyes to everything to learn from it but I'm not actively planning anything. It's been hard, 2019 was a painful but nice year and I got to feel out my artwork again but I haven't felt in touch with art that way for a long time now. I've been writing poetry, still working on my vampire game (writing story, sprites, even mapped out gameplay) but that too is very slow. If I ever amass enough poems and feel it I might share them here but idk. Where I am I'm so burned out on so much, I'm unsure I'll ever make it back to the point I feel once more like fertile soil rich with what I need to make and be art, only time will tell. Reflecting on another artist's words
Art is a difficult thing, in every human way. The impact we all have on it, on each other, is a different and ever evolving thing and the value we hold in it changes too. I read a rather lengthy update from an artist I've enjoyed for many years by the name of Hannah Fury ( http://noplaceonearth.blogspot.com/2019/08/part-garden-part-abyss.html ) and in it she goes over some very scary things with her and her husband but she also muses on art and life too for a while. She talks about how she uses art as a form of healing and being closer to a tangible better version of herself. and I know that my musical quest has never been about any conventional definitions of success. It has always just been about attempting to deal with loss and death, and celebrating love and hope. From the beginning, that is why I did it, and that is why I still care about making music now, even after all these years. New update to my Minecraft Texture/Resource pack
Hey! Since DA is pretty much my art hub these days I just wanted to announce an update to my Resource pack (Yes they call them that now, it's weird) 4R Craft ( https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/resource-packs/1233480-16x-1-13-4r-craft-original-resourcepack-requires ) it adds support for Minecraft 1.13 as well as a bunch of new features for Optifine and changes.
I'm not the best at self promotion but I did wanna go ahead and share the news here and show a few pictures of the update, I worked pretty hard on it and added a bunch of new things. Give it a look and see if you're interested, here's some screensh
Been a while
Brave Fencer Musashi quote/reference out of the way, it's been almost a year since my last journal. I've had a lot of things on mind but not the energy or time to write them out so I'll see if I can go over them to give a bit of an update.
I'm definitely not as active on DA as I used to be and with the things happening last year in real life I definitely didn't get much artwork done, and while popularity doesn't much impact my work output anymore I'd be remiss to say the general dismissal of my artwork (outside of DA especially) doesn't suck haha. Tumblr and Twitter ignore them completely.
